This cocktail is the Passione Arrabiata, on the menu at Costata (meaning "ribeye" in Italian), a contemporary steak house from Chef Michael White that opened recently in New York's Soho neighborhood. Here's the recipe:
1.5 oz. simple syrup
1 oz. passion fruit purée
1 oz. lime juice
2 oz. chili infused Cazadores reposado tequila
Combine all ingredients in a cobbler shaker. Shake and strain over fresh ice in a double old fashioned glass. Place straws and garnish with a whole Calabrian chili.
